Privacy notice

The pages of coinbrowse.com are static files. They set no cookies, load no analytics, no advertising tags and no third-party trackers, and make no request to any third party — with one exception, described next. Nothing you read here is recorded against you.

The site asks search engines not to index it (noindex, nofollow).

This is the one part of the site that transmits anything. Submitting the form sends what you typed to CoinBrowse so we can confirm your email address and review the request. Specifically:

• your email address;
• the applicant type you chose, and your name or preferred username;
• the LinkedIn or X profile you gave, where you gave one;
• what you wrote about how you intend to use the Community;
• for a crypto project or service provider, the organization details on the form: name, website, network, token status, explorer URL, your role, and the official account;
• the versions of the Community rules and this notice you accepted;
• a one-way keyed hash of the IP address the submission came from, used to rate-limit abuse. The address itself is not stored.

We use it to send you a confirmation message, to decide whether to offer an invitation, and to keep an audit record of that decision. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it or share it for advertising.

Your email address and everything you typed are encrypted before they are written to our database, with a key held separately from the data. The index that lets us recognise a repeat submission is a one-way keyed hash, not a readable address.

Invitation links are not stored. We keep only a keyed hash of the secret half, so possession of our database does not yield a usable invitation. Passwords you choose when creating a Community account are never stored by this system at all — they are passed straight to the Community and held nowhere else.

SendGrid (Twilio) delivers our transactional email. Your email address and the contents of the messages we send you pass through SendGrid. Open tracking, click tracking, subscription tracking and analytics parameters are disabled on every message we send.

Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form and the invitation page from automated abuse. Turnstile runs in your browser and reports to Cloudflare whether the interaction looks automated; Cloudflare processes technical signals for that purpose. We send Cloudflare the token their widget produces, and your IP address, to verify it.

Nothing else on these pages contacts a third party.

These are the defaults. They are configurable and may be shortened.

• requests that never confirm their email address: deleted after 7 days;
• declined, revoked or expired requests: personal data removed after 90 days, leaving only the decision and its date;
• waitlisted requests: reviewed and removed after 180 days;
• requests that became accounts: the free text you wrote is removed after 365 days;
• rate-limiting hashes: removed after 30 days;
• audit records of what was decided and when, which contain no personal data: kept up to 24 months.

We keep an append-only log of what happened to each request: submitted, confirmed, approved, invited, redeemed, revoked. It records the action, the time, and which administrator took it. It deliberately contains no email address, no invitation token, no password and no request body.

Administrators sign in to a private dashboard, which sets one strictly necessary session cookie. It is not analytics and it is not set for ordinary visitors — only for a signed-in administrator.

Write to hello@coinbrowse.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you ask us to delete a pending request, we delete it and the request lapses. We answer from a real mailbox read by a person.

This form is not an investment application and not a payment. It does not collect an amount, a wallet address, a seed phrase, a payment method, or an identity document, and it would not accept one. Submitting it does not create a financial relationship of any kind, and no message we send will ever ask you for payment or wallet details.
